The Early Head Start facility at 305 Glenwood Ave in Easton.

The Talbot County Early Head Start is pleased to showcase the impact of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects by providing a tour of its CDBG-funded facility for its sponsors. The Early Head Start facility offers comprehensive early care, education, and family support for children and families as they progress from Early Head Start to Easton Elementary School all on one campus.

Partners invited to the event include Talbot County Government, Maryland Family Network, Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, Talbot County Public Schools, Talbot County Health Department, and Whiting Turner Construction Company.

The Talbot County Early Head Start program was designed to support both children and parents by providing health and wellness education, referrals to community resources, home visits, services for children with special needs, and individualized learning plans. Talbot County Early Head Start provides services to children up to three years of age at no cost to enrolled families, with enrollment eligibility based on age, income, and family circumstances.
