Tilghman Artists – 2012 Exhibit Opens March 10

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum will be hosting Tilghman Artists – 2012 at the Dorchester Center for the Arts in Cambridge for the month of March. The art show features over 20 island artists exhibiting in all media including paintings, fabrics, photography, jewelry,boat models, wooden bowls and other examples of the thriving arts community of Tilghman Island.

Opening reception –  Saturday, March 10, 6-8 pm where the artists will be present. The center is located in the historic Nathan Building at 321 High Street in Cambridge.

 

 

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum is a non-profit community-based endeavor designed to commemorate the work of generations of Tilghman’s Island watermen and their families and others who supported them, and to strengthen the Island community by establishing a new institution centered on heritage-related activities. https://tilghmanmuseum.org
