University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation will host a seminar, “How Your Medical and Financial Well-Being Impacts Your Family,” on Saturday, April 12 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the first floor board room at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, located at 219 South Washington Street.
Guest presenters are Brian Childs, PhD, Director, Clinical Ethics and Spiritual Care, UM Shore Regional Health and Diana Johnson, CEBS, CLU, ChFC, Vice President, Employee Benefits Broker/Consultant, Avon-Dixon Agency, LLC.
Through this informational seminar, participants will gain information about the importance and different types of advance directives, and the top five financial risks that one faces over a lifetime including exorbitant medical costs, dying prematurely, losing your paycheck, high costs of extended care and outliving your assets.
