The “Water Colors with Sandy” course will be offered at The Talbot County Visual Arts Center on June 18th to June 22nd, from 10:00 am to 12:30pm.
The paintings of Sandy Alanko reflect her love of the natural world, its wildlife and wild places. She finds endless inspiration in the salt marshes, fields, woods and harbors that surround her island home. She works in watercolor, acrylic, pastel and oil, depending on the visual effect she is trying to render.

She shows and sells her work locally, regionally and internationally. She is a member of the St. Michael’s Art League and the Working Artist’s Forum of Easton.
Sandy will use demonstrations and special exercises to show you how to control water color to develop a pleasing composition. You will paint a small still life set up in the classroom. You will also paint landscape or other painting of your choice. This class is for beginners and intermediate students. There will be a maximum of 12 students.
You will receive a supply list after you register.
Member cost is $120.00 and non-members $150.00.
