From Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford to Mrs. John Eisenhower, the opening of Ruth Starr Rose (1887-1965): Revelations of African American Life in Maryland at the Waterfowl Building on Wednesday evening brought out some the State’s finest. Sponsored by the Dock Street Foundation, the art exhibition brings together for the first time the work of the local artist of the families of Unionville and Copperville and other scenes from her Eastern Shore life.
The Spy was there to capture this very special moment for Talbot County.
