Fireworks lovers rejoice! This is your weekend. And if you live in Talbot County- you have three nights of magic. You can kick off the celebration with some big screen fireworks at Easton’s Cinema by Starlight viewing of Starwars.
Friday, July 1: Dusk Cinema By Starlight – Star Wars (1977) Picnic in front of the Moonflicks screen. Children welcome – with adult supervision. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown at the Avalon. Free. North Harrison Street, between County building and Brewer’s Lane, Easton
Saturday, July 2: 10:30 am- ? St. Michaels Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration magic shows, live critters to view and educate the children, clowns, tug of war, burlap bag races and egg & spoon races. Good Food and Good Fun. Rain Date July Fourth.
Saturday, July 2 : 7- 10 pm Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Big Band Night with The Rhythm Doctors, a 17 piece band with four trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, a rhythm section and vocalists. And the St. Michaels fireworks start at dark. Food, non-alcoholic beverages and desserts are available, or bring your own picnic. $5 for Museum members ($10 for non-members) children under 12 free. Guests entering after 8:45 pm for the fireworks will be charged $2
Sunday, July 3 : Dusk Oxford Fireworks over the Tred Avon River. Best place for viewing—The Strand.
Monday, July 4th: 4- 9:30pm Easton’s Carnival & Celebration
4pm Carnival starts-rides, food, games and prizes
6-7:30pm – Maryland Sky Divers of America & US Marine Corp Silent Drill Platoon, military flyovers
7:30-9:30pm live music with The Landsharks – songs of Jimmy Buffet & the Beach Boys
