The St. Mark’s Concert Series will present the Music of the War of 1812 featuring David and Ginger Hildebrand and the St. Mark’s Concert Chorale on Sunday, May 20 at 3 pm.
The Hildebrands are the area’s foremost performers of period music.Based in Annapolis, Maryland, this husband and wife team has, since 1980, been involved in researching, performing, recording, and teaching about early American music from the colonial and Federal periods. They use a variety of authentic and reproduction instruments in order to bring America’s musical heritage to life with beauty and accuracy.
Admission is free, but donations are appreciated
