October Becomes Artober at the Academy with Damika Baker and Katie Cassidy

October 3, 2016 by The Spy

While the Spy didn’t have the time to pull out research findings that prove that the practice of creating art lowers blood pressure, decreases stress, and increases general quality of life, Academy Art Museum’s Katie Cassidy perhaps put it best that you can save a lot of money on psychiatrists fees if you participate in one of her arts glasses.

Joined by colleague Damika Baker, Katie and Damika talk to the Spy this week about a special month of art education and classes called Artober to encourage the community to take advantage of close to thirty-one day classes and programs in, you guessed it, Artober.

This video is approximately three minutes in length. For more information, please go here
