Spy Moment: Academy Art Museum Members’ Show 2016

September 6, 2016 by The Spy

Share

While the Academy Art Museum is renowned for bringing to the Mid-Shore some of the best fine art exhibitions in the region, undoubtedly its most popular is the annual Annual Members’ Exhibition now on display until October 9, 2016.

Why? Because almost 20% of all of the AAM’s members, some 240 artists and photographers in total, submit work to be shown for this particular show. From artists that are experiencing significant commercial success to newcomers, everyone is guaranteed a space on the wall.

The Spy caught up with curator Anke Van Wagenberg to talk about the AAM Members show for 2016 and sample of the remarkable work now being shown.
