Project Rewind- Talbot County: This beautiful image of Caroline Emory, Joseph Bartlett’s nurse, is from the Bartlett Collection at the Talbot Historical Society. The archive information states it is a Ambrotype ( early photograph process) and it is dated as being created between 1840-1855. The print is only 3 inches by 3 1/2 inches and is in a small frame with a cover.
When you visit the new Talbot Historical Society new Museum be sure to look in the front people room for a floor to ceiling amazing screen enlargement of this very old and special portrait! Thanks to our museum making Assemble Co. for creating the gorgeous image enlargement of Caroline Emory!
