Spring is thawing us out from a long winter and it’s never a better time to get busy with a craft program. Here are a few offerings, including one for a special Mother’s Day gift.
St. Michaels Library to Offer Family Spring Crafts
On Monday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a family crafts program entitled “Clay Art – Part 1: Create an Air-Dry Clay Piece.” This program is designed for all ages, though children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Create Mother’s Day Boxes at the Library
On Tuesday, May 5, at 3:30 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, patrons will have the opportunity to learn how to turn simple design paper into the perfect Mother’s Day gift: a beautiful box and top with a handmade paper rose. Materials will be supplied by the library. All library programs are free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required to participate in this program.
