Cordova – On May 29, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 31000 block of Asches Acres Road for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, Deputies located Little Price Brooken, 40 of Salisbury, MD and Derone Lamar Little, 29 of Hurlock, MD on the property. Evidence showed that Brooken and Little had removed personal property from the residence and out buildings, which was located in a vehicle they were operating. The vehicle was identified as a 1995 Oldsmobile, white, four door sedan which had been reported stolen out of Salisbury, MD the previous day. Both Brooken and Little were taken into custody, with Brooken being charged with burglary second degree, burglary fourth degree, theft over $1,000. and trespassing. Little was charged with trespassing and released after signing a criminal citation. Brooken was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center in lieu of a $15,000.00 bond.
Cordova – On June 1, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by a juvenile victim reporting a malicious destruction of property to his vehicle. The victim reported he left his vehicle at a residence in the 31000 block of Skipton Cordova Road and upon his return a short time later discovered someone had scratched and dented the vehicle. Investigation revealed a seventeen year old male from Cordova, MD had damaged the vehicle with a knife and baseball bat. The juvenile’s parents were contacted and he was released to the custody of his father and referred to juvenile services charged with malicious destruction of property under $500.
